Welcome to the managers profile page: James Hall

Personal
I am an IT professional with over 11 years experience in the field, with a Software Engineering degree from Kingston University. My knowledge covers most areas of IT and computers, but I specialize in Management, Training and Web development.

I am also a director of an IT company called BSC3 Ltd. Our website BSC3.com, includes images and information from the CLC, hoping to increase the profile of the centre and help bring revenue from business training sessions in the CLC. The revenue from this could purchase Software, Hardware and pay for members to access qualifications. Currently BSC3 is not trading but it has developed this site, as a gift for this valuable community resource. In association with Audiomation, BSC3 will be arranging future password protected areas for members only access on the Internet. Currently access to these areas is only available within the CLC.

The CLC
It has been my privileged to meet some fantastic people, most of which are members at the CLC. I am fortunate to have had this opportunity, it has allowed me to grow as an individual and expand knowledge and skills that can be shared with the members and community. I guarantee ever day is a good one filled with interest and challenge, so I am always keen for a new one to begin.

I became manager of the CLC back in July 2002, when I was employed by Harding Housing Association. Initially I had to setup the computer network and stock up with essentials, like chairs and mouse mats. With the invitations, advertising, paperwork and a few finishing touches done, it was time for the centre to open its doors to the community. We held the official opening day on 15th September 2002, where the Mayor, residents and other interested parties, toured the CLC and watched a presentation.

Things have changed a lot since the early days and the CLC has forged out a name for itself as a recognised and established facility. We have links with many good organisations (click the associates link), making sure members have every resource and opportunity at their fingertips.
