Welcome to Tropical punch - Submitted by Jocelyn

INGREDIENTS

½ ltr orange juice
½ ltr pineapple juice
½ ltr grapefruit juice
3 mls lime juice or lemon juice
1lb Demerara sugar
4 tins ginger beer
½ ltr Angostura white rum
1cup cubed pineapple
1 cup melon pieces or balls
1 lime seeded and thinly sliced
1large orange seeded and thinly sliced
2 mls Angostura Bitters

METHOD

1) Combine orange, pineapple, grapefruit and lime juice in large jug.
2) Sweeten to taste with sugar and chill for 3 hours.
3) Just before serving, stir in ginger beer, rum, Angostura Bitters, pineapple cubes, melon balls and oranges slices. Serve with crushed ice.

NB - Rum can be left out and punch will still be refreshing.

VARIATION

Substitute a small tin of tropical fruit cocktail for pineapple or melon pieces
